Speak Easy

Speak easily, my dear

lofty ears grab each bite,

playing croquet, specially at tea

Your feigned match made,

society prepares elaborately

failing to look in your eyes.

Speak easily, my dear

lonely hours of night also listen,

dancing ragtime, sharing the spoon.

Like a clearing, through the fog

eyes lock together.

You are understood.
